The brand was founded by Lauretta after an extensive search for a ginger tea potent enough to meet her needs during pregnancy came up short — she began brewing her own from fresh ginger root, and it has been part of her daily routine ever since.

We source real, whole ingredients — including ginger grown on Hawaii's Kauai Island — and support local farmers at our home base in Costa Rica. Our approach follows a "Farm to Cup" philosophy: ingredients sourced with intention, not artificial extracts or flavorings.

Our ginger-based infusions are naturally caffeine-free. A small number of items in the collection — including our Japanese Matcha and Chinese Dragon Well (Sencha) — do contain caffeine; please refer to the relevant product page if this is a consideration for you.

Our ginger root tea is crafted to be potent. A 4oz bag yields approximately 60 cups. We recommend adjusting steep time to suit your preference, and starting with a shorter steep if you are new to ginger tea.
